I have found my greatest teachers in children, primarily special needs kids, who are hungry to learn  ways to use and express themselves more fully and effectively. The Anat Baniel Method for children(sm) is the most direct and powerful way that I have ever experienced as a means of helping children to connect with their own vitality and uniqueness. Through this work with children, I have learned to teach adults to move with vital curiosity, presence, lightness and grace.

Josie Davenport, LMT (MA 3599) LCSW (SW 5130), is licensed massage therapist for more than 20 years and a licensed clinical social worker.

Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner Anat Baniel Method Practitioner(sm) with over 10 years of advanced training and experience working with infants and children with special needs and with rejuvenation and anti-aging in adults.

Two year degree in music, BS in health education and wellness from the University of Florida and MSW from Florida State University.

Co-owner of the Florida School of Massage since 1987.

Past Experience: Instructor in the evaluation and treatment of injuries, deep tissue bodywork and gestalt communication skills.

Co-author of book (Korb, Korb, Davenport & Martin), iContact: A Gestalt Guide to Skilled Communication, (2007) Gestalt Press.
