". . . The body reflects attitudes of the mind, improve the body and you must improve the mind." Moshe Feldenkrais
In my work over the past 25 years, I have found that two primary abilities are present for physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Just Being: The ability to let go of all unnecessary muscular tension and to just be present in the moment. This can be called trust and also being safe in oneself.
Awareness in Motion: The other ability is to apply awareness to all forms of movement whether it is the movement of thought, emotion, the breath or intention.
In my work, I see the body, mind and spirit as an interrelated whole.

When I use Gestalt listening skills with Feldenkrais® or Anat Baniel Methodsm lessons I am working with the dynamic relationship of the skills of Just Being and Awareness in Motion, and with the myriad possibilities for growth and health in each person.
". . . If you know what you do, you can do what you want." Moshe Feldenkrais
For the past ten years I have focused my training and practice on facilitating learning and functional improvements in children and in anti-aging a pain relief in adults. With Anat Baniel Method sm, based on the work of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, I teach new options for thinking, feeling and movement to children and adults.
By replicating the remarkable ways that healthy children explore, children with disabilities can learn new varieties of movement and to use their natural curiosity to help them connect with their world in new ways. In a similar way, adults and elders who wish to regain the suppleness of youthful movement can learn to move with freedom and ease.
". . . Movement is life, without movement life is unthinkable." Moshe Feldenkrais

As a certified practitioner of Feldenkrais® and Anat Baniel Method for Childrensm , I provide learning experiences for each child which activate and enhance their own natural curiosity giving them opportunities for development beyond their previous limitations.

One of the necessities of youth is continued learning. Using neurologically reorganizing movement sequences, I teach movement options that help to keep the body and the brain supple and responsive. These lessons are structured to enhance the learning processes in the areas that are essential to health, vitality and sensuality. (Photo (C) Marcella Martinez)
